Doggy Tails

"Looking for a good home" 8x8 oil on board

I couldn't resist this little one to paint, being held after rescue by the Ottawa Humane Society, there were 22 puppies last week found in a puppy mill. His eyes seem to tell the whole story. Hoping after their ordeal they will find a good home when they are ready and in good health.

Coral (Princess) 8x10 oil on board
Coral was a dog found in Orangeville SPCA sometime ago. She became very attached
to her new owner a boy of 10 years old at the time. She was very loving but, did have
a glitch in her personality, finding it great fun to jump the substantial gate and escape
hiding when she was called to come home. It seems she gave them plenty of excercise
bringing her home after one of her adventures! Her nickname became Princess as there
is a look of Royalty about her.

Monty 8x8 oil on board
Monty is owned by Amy a young lady who lives locally, Monty is a rescue dog and is
in a certain amount of training at the moment, this picture shows him hiding in a duvet after being a little naughty.

Roots 8x10 oil on board

Roots a special gentle dog, the owner found him on a road in dreadful condition lost
dirty and hungry. Who could pass him by? he is a ball of long hair and big eyes
loves attention by anyone who gives him a pat a great companion for the owners
of Grackle Coffee.

From this weeks sales I have donated $25 to animal rescue, Thanks all!!!

  1. These puppy mills and hoarder groups are being closed down everywhere swamping all the rescue groups and shelters.
Please adopt if you are looking for a new pet.
Small pets like this lovely dachshund are often available. Most have spent their lives in terrible conditions.
